Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Core to our religion curriculum at St. Robert School is an approach to religious formation called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). It is rooted in the Bible, the Liturgy of the Church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Central to this approach is the Atrium, a sacred space prepared for the children. A place of beauty, the atrium is designed for being with and enjoying God, listening to God’s Word, and praying. The themes presented in the atrium are essential sources for creating and fostering Christian life at every developmental stage and for meeting the vital religious needs of the children.

At St. Robert, we are blessed to have three atria: Level One for ages 3-6 yrs., Level II for ages 6-9 yrs., & Level III for ages 9-12 yrs.
