At St. Robert School, we are blessed to have The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd which is an approach to the religious formation of children. It is rooted in the Bible, the Liturgy of the Church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Central to this approach is the Atrium, a sacred space prepared for the children. A place of beauty, the atrium is designed for being with and enjoying God, listening to God’s Word, and praying. At St. Robert Bellarmine, we are blessed to have three atria: Level I for ages 3-6 yrs., Level II for ages 6-9 yrs., and Level III for ages 9-12 yrs. Our 7th and 8th grade students are preparing for Confirmation and use Decision Point as well as study with the Catechism of the Catholic Church and study the witness and examples of the brilliant lives of the saints.

Students also engage in monthly Christian service projects with activities such as collecting and donating needed items such as food, socks, soap, and shampoo to the Catholic Charities of Flint, and helping in the community.
